Rockin' out with the band

I realize I haven't posted in a while and thought this would put a smile on many faces out there for sure. The pictures say it all...

I love being the band photographer!

In case you're wondering... the thing Cooper is holding has a tiny guitar shape for the on/off switch and that's what he used for his instrument.

Carsey's Talent Show

Carsey sang in her school talent show and Jon played the guitar for her. We were a little nervous (kind of like letting your kid go up and bear their testimony), but it was SO fun to watch her. She made us even more proud by picking a song by one of our favorites... Creedence Clearwater! Good job Cars! Its hard to tell from the video, but she got a big smile on her face when everyone started clapping along :)

Lucy and the Umbrella

Carsey and I broke out the modeling clay and made a short clip. She created most of the character, Lucy Jones (and named her). Carsey had SO much fun and was SO excited to see the result, I highly recommend trying it! Believe it or not - there are 47 frames total.

Cooper LOVES candy!

Cooper was so excited about his Easter candy. He got as much as he could in his mouth, but couldn't handle chewing it all. I love how he thanks his Dad for the help. What a cutie!

Carsey Rides Her Bike!

Carsey learned to ride her bike recently. Since then she's gone into the muddy ditch more than 3 times and scraped and bruised both legs up. This is her telling about the first incident. I was in big trouble because it was the first time I let her go out by herself and I didn't hear her crying for my help. I knew there was trouble when I saw her walking her bike down the sidewalk, covered in mud. Then she stuck her tongue out at me ! LOL!

Newest addition to the family... making this the Springfield FIVE now! Her name is Mila Jean. We've realized that having 3 kids doesn't allow for much down time... oi! As my sister Heather says, "You go from one on one coverage to zone defense." Never a truer statement!
